Abstract

Male patient aged 16, came together with his mother, to Surgery Out Patients Department, several times, suffering abdominal pain, intestinal disorders and dyspeptic symptoms; doctors who assisted to this patient, prescribed for him, different pills, but he, the patient didn’t get improvement, and then, they came back, once and again. Finally, a paeditrician doctor asked for him an Ecography study of abdomen. The radiologist found a very complex image on the right side of abdomen, just where they found a palpable mass and carried quickly to the patient for the fluoroscopic machine and there they made for him the Barium and Follow Through examination. The result, in accordance to the radiologist, was Intussusception, on the right segment of the large intestine, likely as the cause for the abdominal pain and other symptoms, owing to parasites, congenital disease (Meckel’s diverticulum) cystic fibrosis, intestinal masses (adeno-cystic- carcinoma), Schönlein-Henoch Disease (very rare), some viral diseases and some other illnesses.
