Development of academic programs for subjects specific to clinical bioanalysis. Faculty of Medical Sciences, Isla de la Juventud 2023-2024.

Abstract

Higher education carries out profound transformations that become a key factor to set up necessary process to confront the challenges of current world. Medical colleges should respond to process changing and nowadays reforms to obtain quality professionals, for this reason, a planned and controlled teaching-learning process is required. At our college of medical science the technology career within the clinical laboratory profile, includes clinical bioanalysis career, and the short-cycle in clinical analysis and transfusion medicine, that is why the teaching staff is committed to contribute to the optimal development of the teaching-learning process of the students, with the introduction of didactic methods, what is the purpose of the research to develope academic. a syllabus for specific subjects I and VII in the Career of clinical bioanalysis in the Medical College of Isle of Youth. Theorical methods such as bibliographic consultation were used during the process of designing and development of the used methodology, two syllabuses were designed and developed, Specific Subject I (Microbiological Diagnosis) and Specific Subject VII (Clinical Laboratory Management and Administration). This investigation shows clearly that the sylabus for specific subjects represents a gradual improving that keeps the obtained achievements and some of the pedagogical concepts where the main transformations are developed and contribute to the optimal development of the teaching-learning process of the students.
